I haven't cracked open Fuse yet, but am making changes on the amp, IIIv2, to play with some of the built-in settings.

I'm trying to remove effects whether stomp, mod, delay or reverb, by using the associated EFFECT button to turn the effect on or off.

Seems to work fine. I then proceed to go the next effect to turn it off. However, when I go through the effects and start at the beginning of the list again, the effect has been reactivated.

How do I ensure that an effect remains off when I turn it off by pressing the EFFECT button?

I want to start "clean" and then pile on the effects.

Thanks,
Newfie

After you make a change to any preset, if you want to overwrite the preset with the changes you made, just press the SAVE button twice before moving to a different preset.

NOTE: Changes will only be saved if the amp is unlocked. If you find that the amp is locked, press the UTIL button until you see Memory Lock. Turn the DATA WHEEL to set it to OFF. Then press EXIT.

(To lock the amp again, repeat the procedure, but set the Memory Lock to ON)

There can only be one active effect per module (button). If you push the "mod" button and the LED goes off, ALL modulation effects are off. If you push it again, ONLY the selected modulation effect is on. If you choose a different modulation effect, ONLY that effect is active.
You don't have to go through every single effect and turn them off one by one. All you have to do is push all the buttons until only "amp" is lit.
Try FUSE out some time, this really makes things clearer (because you see on your screen that only one effect is active).
