Hi,

Just purchased a Mustang III amp. I also am new to guitar playing. I would like to get the list of equivalent effects to get a point of reference. Like the Ranger stomp box. It is like wich "real" pedal? I get that the overdrive is an overdrive and the fuzz is a fuzz but did the experienced players find the real counterpart models?

I found a list for the amp models. Metal 2000 being a Peavey 5150 and the british 60's a Vox AC30.

If anyone has an idea...

Thank you!

There are at least a couple of threads about it if you go searching ... here's one:

Thanks for the link!

I did use the search engine but I did not know what words to use so I used "effects" and "stomp box" that led me to too much results.

I am a french speaking canadian...

Hey,

The Mustang series actually use pretty much exactly the same effects as the old Cybertwins (circa 2000), take a look at the documentation here which explains all the parameters. IMO they should have copied this into the Mustang manuals.

What... so there was a pre-Mustang Mustang? With motorised knobs? It must be the Mustang Pro!
So how come that didn't get famous as the go-to modelling amp.. ok not so cheap..
Seems to have more delay effects like dotted delay and gated reverb..
But you're right - Fender should have just rewritten that manual.

Thank you for the additional replies! The "Definitive Fender FUSE List" was exactly what I was looking for. :D
