In the past when i was a tube amp snob i would never use a cab made of particle board, and ESPECIALLY a PB baffle. I HAVE compared with the same speaker and PB always sounded ratty by comparison. But with the mustang it's not as easy to replace and i fear the amp being a modeler may sound WORSE even tho plywood generally sounds better by far because the models were likely developed around a PB baffle. So it may be part of the equasion if you know what i mean. So i'm wondering if anyone has done this and what the result was.
