I have a Mustang Mini v1 and I v1.
How do I determine what version of firmware is on the amp.
I am poking all around Fuse looking, but I can't find it.
I am sure it's right in front of my face.

I've seen it somewhere for my Mustang I V2, but I can't remember where.
If you go to the FUSE app's "Main Menu" tab (the one in the upper left corner of the FUSE window, not the normal menu bar for Mac OS or whatever) /Utilities there is menu item "Update firmware..." option, which gives you instructions on how to update it, but I don't see how you can just inspect the firmware version.

Found it (for my MI V2, anyway).

Main Menu / Help / About Fender FUSE...
It shows the FUSE software version on the left side, e.g. "Version 2.7.1"
In the same line but on the right-hand side, mine says "2.2-(Jul 26 2013)"
There is nothing that actually indicates what it means, but if the amp is not connected, that end of the line is blank. Presumably, that is the amp's firmware version.

It's really bad interface design, I know. It should have it's own menu item in the "Utilities" menu, and be there even if the amp is not connected, to let you know where you could find it.

Thanks John!

Yes, that is kind of bizarre?
On OS X in the menu bar for Fuse if you select "Fuse" -> "About Fender Fuse" you only get the software version.
Yes, in that secondary "Main Menu"-> "Help"-> "About Fender Fuse" it is on the left, just as you pointed out.

Yes, you get that weird horrible user experience crap with Flash/Air, Silver Light and Java UI's.
The Fuse team created a great application, but I can't stand the non standard behavior look and the feel of non-native applications.

Thanks again.
