Hi everybody. My name is Roberto from Milano, Italia.
Just a little question ( forgive me if this is not the right topic, first time here, don't kick me out .... )
When I try to get some sounds from the "FUSE Community" and trying to save them in the Fender Folder, I get a message like " You need Administrator privilege to save the file".
I am the Administrator of my computer.
How can i Fix this, please ?

Thanks in advance for your answer.
Hugs everybody
Roberto

Never had that problem, but you can try running Fuse as Administrator (right click -> run as administrator) and see if that helps.

No way ... it just doesn't make save anything on the computer.
Could it be possibly because MANY files are for Mustang V2 and I own the Mustang I ??

No, v2 presets should automatically 'translate' to a v1 version on download.

What version of Microsoft Windows are you running?

This has nothing to do with the model/version of Mustang amp.

The message "you need administrator privilege" is probably misleading - what it's more likely trying to tell you is that you need different privileges from the ones you currently have. Just because you're logged in as administrator, doesn't mean you have the right privileges.

This sort of thing can happen (in general, can't speak for the FUSE installer specifically) if you inadvertently originally installed FUSE from a non-administrator account. Then, only that account would be set up with the necessary privileges to write to the FUSE folders.

If you know what you're doing in Windows (and if you're logged in as Administrator you should know what you're doing!), then you could change the permissions on the FUSE data folders to allow wider write access to them.

Or, uninstall FUSE and re-install it from an Administrator account - then log in as a non-administrator (which is what everyone should do anyway; never use an Administrator account as your main account) and see if it now works.
