Hello all....My data wheel isnt working very well on my mustang 4 v2. when i push it in it works fine but i can't change presets/settings by turning the wheel. it still clicks and the presets will change but only once every 10-30 seconds or so at random intervals. For example i can rotate the wheel 10 clicks and it will change twice in a minute, there is no instant change. Any ideas? is this a software or hardware problem? ive owned it for about a year and never had a problem until today.

Have you tried a factory reset?
To restore the Mustang amplifier to factory settings:

1. Turn the amplifier OFF.
2. Press and hold the EXIT button while turning the amplifier ON. Continue holding the EXIT button until it is no longer illuminated.
A Factory reset will erase ALL your presets so back them up on Fuse first.
Or Flash with the latest firmware?

Warranty service time. Have all your presets backed up in FUSE and when they send you a brand new amp, you can just restore them all at once.

Call fender and ask for the location of the nearest fender warranty station. They may even have a service station locator on fender.com. It may be that the mustangs are designated non field repairable in which case they will simply give you a new one.
