Hi all, does any one know of a resource that has an exploded view of the Mustang III amp, my amp has a very noisy master volume pot that even repeated cleaning wont cure so I fear it requires replacement, but before I take this on I want to know how it comes apart.

I have searched the Fender website and the web but to know avail..

The amp is nearly two years old and out of warranty, I am competent with components of this nature but like as much info as I can get prior to taking these jobs on.

Thanks in advance.

Jon

I thought I would update on this, I contacted Fender UK / ROI to the the correct value for the pot and the tech guys did a little diagnosis and con firmed it was the pot, they then informed me that the amp was only just out of warranty and would certainly look at it, they contacted the dealer from where I bought it (The legendary Mansons Guitar Shop http://www.mansons.co.uk/) and Mansons then contacted me asking me to drop the amp in, I dropped it in and after a little wait it was duly returned to me with a new pot...at no cost to me what so ever.

Big up to Fender UK / ROI and Mansons Guitars.

Awesome service.

Doesn't the Mustang have the same 5 year warranty that other Fender amps have?

I believe that is a USA based Warranty that you're asking about. I think things sold in the UK are different.

That's unfortunate for non USA purchasers.
Nonetheless, they did cover your repair....
Fender's Five Year warranty coverage for the Mustangs is nice to have, if needed.
