I'm buying a longer USB cable for connecting to Fuse. I think the USB port on my Mustang III v.2 amp is a mini-B, but I'm not sure (I don't trust my eyes) and I can't find it in the specs. Will someone please confirm or deny? Thanks.

Thank you, scott-uk. Somehow my search didn't find any previous forum posts that answered my question.

It's a mini-B.

It's also not running at high speed, so the max cable length is 9 ft instead of 16 ft. Take that into account when buying a cable. Longer cables may work, but you're asking for trouble, so don't.

I also strongly recommend getting a USB cable with a ferrite bead on at least the mini-B end, as the Mustang will pick up EM and ground hum through the USB cable, unless it is beaded. A buck or two extra for the cable is a good investment here.
Example of a beaded cable - the ferrite bead is the blob on the cable near the plug.
