I tote my mini to beach here in Thailand about every day, and love it to death. Punch far above weight. Looking at online sites seems to becoming rare: not even GC has it... I plan on getting it's cousin the Passport Mini (adds that mic and acoustic modeling) but I am a tad apprehensive as to if production will be stopped before I get back to states in March. Can anyone enlighten me as to plans regarding this gem?

Hi Emster 23,

Thanks for your inquiry. Unfortunately, we are not able to discuss the life cycle of products. However, I can tell you that as of this afternoon, I see the Fender® Passport® mini amp as available on a popular national music retailer's web site here in the States. So, if you are interested in purchasing one, it should be no problem. By the way, what part of Thailand are you in? Please let me know if I can assist further.

Best Regards,

Alan

I live in Jomtien Beach. I got Mustang 1 v.1 while living in Bangkok years ago. Even though 50% more than US prices, still considered it a bargain. When I saw mini was coming out the salivary glands kicked in.
Was in USA in Sept of that year, saw that release date was something like Oct 7, which would have been cutting it close to departure date... considered changing return date to Thailand. Then release was changed to end of October, which ended my dilemma.
I'll be back in late March. Don't want to order now and have mini passport sitting at friend's house just in case damage in shipping or some other problem...
