Not impressed... Still testing it out but thinking it will be sent back. Seems I can only jump between two points with the pedal? I can go from 100% delay to 40%delay. ( or whatever two numbers input into fuse ) I expected settings to vary with the position of the pedal. Even the volume jumps from soft to loud . It's as if the pedal is just a foot switch, on or off.....??? Could be I'm missing something as the instructions are not that great. Illplay with it for the weekend but I'm not seeing how I would make any use of this?

Go to Fender and download the advanced manual. The pedal will work fine once you calibrate it.

Mine has full range but you do need to calibrate it once

Ok, seems like a lot of work to use this pedal...
Am I correct that I have to go into fuse, setup the pedal affect I want to control such as timing of delay. Then I have to save that preset. Now when I go back to that preset the pedal will control the affect I had set up. Now to move to another preset I have to have already setup the pedal in fuse and saved a different preset.
Can't to much on the fly, must have presaved pedal settings in fuse.
I noticed the volume part of the pedal works globally?
Still trying to figure this out and if it's worth keeping for $80.

I was about to say "no, it's per preset" - but then I just checked it on my own amp and am surprised to discover* that yes, the pedal's Volume Mode does appear to be a global setting, not a per-preset setting. That's certainly not what the documentation suggests.

You are correct that the pedal's Expression Mode has to be configured separately for every preset. This makes sense, because the whole point of different presets is that they have different settings, different effects, etc. So it's quite likely you'd want the pedal to control a different thing in each preset. This is to give you maximum flexibility.

However, if you want the pedal's Expression mode to control the same setting across all your presets (in your example, if all your presets have a delay, and you always want the pedal to control the timing of the delay), then yes, unfortunately the downside of the above flexibility is that you do still have to set it up separately for each preset.

I suppose it could be useful to have a global setting that you could configure to say (eg) "if the preset has such-and-such effect and parameter, have the pedal always control that parameter; otherwise use the preset-specific settings." That would simplify things for your scenario. Might be worth suggesting this to Fender as a future enhancement.

An even better enhancement would be the ability to configure the pedal as an effect in its own right in the signal chain, independent of the preset. So imagine a fifth effect slot in the chain, to which any effect could be permanently assigned, or something like that. Obviously probably not possible with the current DSP hardware, but a nice idea.

I suppose this is the inevitable consequence of having a configurable pedal: it's a pedal that can do anything, but therefore can do nothing until you tell it what you want it to do.

If you have a V1 amp, yes. But if you have a V2 amp, you can do most/all the pedal configuration directly on the amp, without needing FUSE. See the amp's advanced manual, page 11.

* I tend to use mine in Expression Mode, have always just used the default Volume settings so never noticed this before.

I have V1… Thanks for the input, its all becoming clearer to me now… Gonna take awhile to figure out what I want to control with the pedal… still experimenting..
I'd be interested in how others are setting up their pedal. I've played around with Gain and Delay… ???
