I want to use my mustang floor in line with my Fender Tube amp. My amp does not have an effects loop. I want to run from my guitar to the Fender Mustang Floor - out the Left unbalanced out - straight to the guitar input of the Amplifier.
My question is - How do I set the setting so the amplifier models don't interfere with my amp sound. Do I go in to Utilities and select combo - amp? I want to be able to use all of the modulations delays etc... just want my amp to be the main amp sound.
Thanks

Two things that I can think of:

- Turn off the amp model in the presets you're using - and don't forget to save the presets like that, otherwise next time you select one of them, the amp model will be on again.

- And (as you mention) set the output voicing to 'combo amp' - or experiment with the different settings until you find the one that gives the best sound for you. Go by the sound, not by what they're called.

the most important thing will be to adjust the floor output level:
-at "noon" it will be unity gain (output level will be similar to input level), recommendable if you do NOT want the floor to boost the signal before getting into your amp input
-"past noon" if you want to use the floor as a clean boost above and beyond any other effects configured in the floor

Regarding output voicing, if you want to use the floor as a simple effects pedalboard, you do not need nor will get any voicing: whatever the voicing setting, when you disable the amp emulation it also disables voicing (page 7 of floor manual)

Thanks folks for your kind replies. I will try and practice with these two suggestions. There is also some discussion regarding settings 80 - 88. Generally there are two scenarios - One where I am practicing through my tube combo amp in the basement and the other where I take my floor to plug directly in to the church PA system. So, I have to set up some presets for each scenario and experiment.
Thanks a lot for the start!
