I have Mustang III v2. Whenever I use the FX loop I get a loud hum (using Digitech JamMan stereo and or Visual Sound VS-XO pedals). Any solution to the problem?

Check cables , check wall outlet , use the same where is your amp , or ground is defective , or polarity of wall outlet is wrong .

Do you use the right power supply for your effects ?

Others reporting the same problem on this forum have fixed it by using a better power supply for their fx-loop effects.

To see if this may be your issue, try using the effects with a battery power supply and see if that cures the hum. Try seeing if one effect on its own exhibits the problem while another effect on its own doesn't - that at least will help you isolate the cause.

If you're using one of the (cheaper) multi-way guitar-effect power supplies, I recall others have reported these can be problematic. Sadly these things are cheap for a reason, they've cut costs in manufacturing by using inferior parts that do not have such good noise isolation.

I have read here that people who switched to use premium power supplies, and hopefully this includes those from the pedal manufacturers, have had fewer problems.
