So this would apply to metal corner protectors too? Didn't do it but was going to. Was also going to put a tie die screen cover on it too.

I bought some corners but haven't installed them. It's a shame that upgrading the cab with features the more expensive cabs have will void the warranty.

I bet you could fabricate a low dolly cart with some short light-duty cargo straps to do the same job.
