I was thinking of using my GDEC 3 30 as the front end of the Mustang floor model since the Floor has XLR outs that would go directly into the board.
I could use the GDEC to pick the preset I wanted, and use the Floor to build on the sound by using either a compressor, or alternate presets or individual effects by leaving it in effects mode (mod, delay, reverb) that could layer onto the original GDEC preset.
I have done something similar in the past by using my Vox Tonelab LE as the front end, and picking a suitable amp model with the GDEC to use as a baseline monitor. If I needed a little more drive, I just change presets on the GDEC.
I haven't found out where the 100 presets are listed yet on the Mustang Floor in Fender documentation. I know the presets aren't compatible between the two systems. I have heard some of the Mustang Floor presets on Youtube, and it would give me more choices than I presently have on the GDEC.
Any thoughts or ideas on the best way to cross interface the two systems?

You could try it but you have to find a good fender clean amp model that is neutral sounding in your mustang floor so it sounds correct with your G-DEC'S amp models. I also would try to run your mustang floor into the front end of your G-DEC 30 because this way you could switch the effects on and off with the mustang floor and also have more options with your amp and cab models plus the output settings in your mustang floor, you can also run your G-DEC'S stereo 1/4" outputs into a powered P.A. system or a powered stereo rack type amp and then into a 2x12 or 4x12 stereo cabinet.
