the red "lock-tite" dried out, the nut came loose and one of the switches has fallen inside of the "body cavity". I don't want to dis-assemble it. Can you fix it ? Is there an address I can send it to, to be repaired ?

I'm happy I got a second one as back up, but would really like to get this thing fixed, properly...Thanks.

There's only a few bits inside - should be a doddle to fix

The nut and loose switch may be difficult to re attach. I don't have the proper tools to get it all back together. I feel as if some special tools may be used to assemble these things....

What reply are you expecting? If you want an official response from Fender, you should email or phone them; they read this forum but not all the time (this isn't an official support channel). Or just take the footswitch to your nearest Fender service centre. You can probably find out where that is from any Fender retailer or the Fender website.

I'm inclined to agree with markcc, this is an easy DIY fix. But I can equally understand someone not feeling comfortable with that, so I suggest you contact Fender directly for further help.

Hi crust,
The above is correct. Due to time constraints/responsibilities,even the moderators on the Forum are not able to monitor every post or sometimes even the "reports", we do the best we can...so thanks for bearing with us.

Your best bet IS to email our Consumer Relations Dept consumerrelations@fender.com
or call it in 480-596-7195 for immediate response. You should count on providing some information-----Serial number- receipt, if it's still under warranty etc.
Or: feel free to PM me with that information and I'll pass it along and get you helped out.

Cheers,
rob
