Hi, apologies if this question is obvious but I feel what I'm trying to do should be more straightforward.

I've taken one of the factory presets and made some changes. I've saved this on my amp and uploaded to my PC. Now all I want to do is rename the preset. I thought I could go into the version stored on my PC and edit the name from the preset info screen. However, all the items on this screen are not available for editing so I can't change them.

Am I missing something obvious?

I believe you have to name your preset when you create it. This is for the MIII and up- it'll prompt you to do that on the lcd screen when you save it to a slot. It's a bit awkward to do at first, but you'll get better at it the more you do it.

Try changing something- anything- then put it back where it was. The save buttonwill be lit up, and you can save the preset again. You should be able to rename it now.

PS- this is done on the AMP, not in fuse.

It's not obvious.

What I have doe is when connected to the PC using fuze with the preset selected that you want to rename click on the "save" button. I don't have it front of me but I think it's on the right top of the screen. A box will open and you can change the name as well as a few notes.

Hope this helps.

Good luck & peace.

Many thanks for the replies. I have a Mustang I so it doesn't allow me to update the name on the amp itself. I tried making a change to the preset and then saving but this didn't allow me to rename. I eventually had to create a brand new blank preset and then import the preset I'd copied over from the amp. So, not the greatest way to do it but it worked eventually.
