Hi
There's probably a simple answewr to this but I'm wondering why the preset list given on the following link which is supposed to list the presets on the Mustang III is different to what is actually on my amp. This list starts with Liquid Solo, Whitechapel Heavy and Intro Clean. My MIII has as its first 3 presets Intro Clean, Bassman Drive and Country Deluxe.

Thanks

Mick

Have you just acquired your amp? Is it new or used? If used, it sounds like a previous owner has rearranged the presets.

The link you give is the correct out-of-the-box preset list for Mustangs. For completeness, here are the standard preset lists for all Mustangs:

Pre-empting your next question: yes you can restore all the default/factory presets, if that's what you want to do. I'm pretty sure Fender published a FUSE backup file containing all the standard presets, in the right order, with their correct settings. You can just restore this to your amp. If not Fender, then I recall one or more helpful forum people created and shared the necessary file. Unfortunately I can't find the link to it right now, I'm sure someone else will reply with the info.

you shouldn't have to hunt for a factory default presets set, and to the best of my knowledge there isn't an official copy of it (although you can find unofficial ones).
Do a full restore to factory defaults in your amp and it will go back to factory presets.

I recommend you do a backup of your current presets in Fuse in case you want them back later.
You can also do a backup immediately after you restore to factory defaults, to get your own copy of factory presets

Hi

I'm using a Mustang III V1. Does that make any difference? I'v done the factory reset and still get Intro Clean as the first patch. According to the documentation it should be Liquid Solo.
