Wanted to share an awesome workaround for the MII's lack of XLR out for direct line:

What I've been doing is going out of the "Effects Send" into a Red Box (1/4 jack out of the FX from the back of the amp and into the RebBox)... XLR out of the RedBox to the PA. The Effects send is in back of the everything in the amp's model... in other words it's at the rear of all effects (stomps... modulation, delays, verbs)... so you don't lose anything there.

It works incredibly well. Much better than micing the amp... Nice, strong, clean signal that's EASY to control volume wise and EQ wise.

Even though the RedBox is a 4x12 celestion cab emulation... you still get the "Character" of whichever amp model your using... A "Twin"... sounds like a "Twin"... a "Princeton"... sounds like a "Princeton" etc..

Hope this helps anyone using a V1 that's looking for a "Line Out" solution to "Live Playing" use that your band mates and sound man will all want to buy you Chocolates and Flowers for... well maybe not.. BUT.. they'll sure love ya for it!
Rock On

Yeah, the RedBox is tough to beat for those guitar amp signals that are just not matched for a mixer input. I have an old Mark II that I used back in the day on some solid-state Peavey amps, with night-and-day results. The only drag is the need for power to the unit (although the current requirement is so low that even the least-expensive universal AC adapter will do).
