Hey there Mustang Riders xD, finally got the will to record something with my Mustang IV v.2, just a cover of In My Dreams by Dokken, All guitars recorded with a custom Brit 80s preset, and the main chorus clean part with the Bassman model, all through USB, added some reverb here and there and a bit comp on the DAW but it was mostly to balance levels, not editing the tone at all, so it's 100% Mustang tone there still :D

BTW My First Time recording anything so be patient with me please, and Hope you enjoy!

That sounds VERY well !. Congrats man, you really nailed it. Thanks for the short trip back to the 80's ;)

May I ask what guitar/pickups are you using?

it sounds fantastic! Just one little creative suggestion, try taking the same exact mix and turn the guitar lead down a little. Try to place it where you can just hear all the notes, but your ear has to strain a little to get everything. That's where I prefer to mix a guitar solo (see also: Jimmy Page). :D The tone you dialed in sounds sweet!

Thanks so much Everyone :D

Well Guitars used in the rhythm parts is a Phil Pro Ms-20, my cheap starter guitar, it's stock pickups are pretty hot and clear sounding, and my ESP LTD Mh-100qm on the Lead part and the rhythm section right after the solo, pickups on that one are Suhr's SSH on the Bridge and SSV on the neck, but didn't use the neck one in that lead.

Thanks for the suggestion on the Lead :D, definitely gonna take it in count the next time I get to record something.

Your first time recording anything?
Very, very impressive job - congrats.
You did the singing too?
Mixing is a difficult job - it can take longer than the playing!

Hey There, Thanks so much! :), yeah first time doing it, just learning how to use a DAW and how to mix xD

I cheated a bit with the track, is a backing track I found on the net, all I recorded was the guitar parts, I could sing but not having good enough recording gear yet stops me from doing that, in a future I'll try to do that also, but for now the guitar is my main point.

Love that tone! Have you uploaded that preset to the Fuse site by any chance?
