I recently grabbed a drum loop machine for my Android phone (Nexus 5) since the mustang doesn't come with a built I'm drum machine.
My problem is that the sound is very weak compared to the guitar, even with the phone volume at max (I use a stereo cable between the phone and AUX)

Is there a way to adjust the gain of the AUX input so that those drums sound louder?

If I use PC into AUX the level is fine, but I don't want to carry a PC around.

There is no separate volume control for the aux input. The Mustang is just expecting this to be a normal line-level signal. It sounds as though your phone output isn't high enough - understandably, as the phone output is I expect intended to drive its own very low-power headphones, rather than drive a line signal to other equipment.

I'd suggest you find a small, battery-powered line-level pre-amp (eg a guitar eq / volume-boost stomp pedal would do the job) to put in between your phone and the amp's aux input.
