Just got my new exp-1 pedal after waithing months for it! I intend to use it mostly for volume control. Is it normal that i have to push the pedal a good 1/3 before affecting the volume!?! Same thing if i set it from toe to heel or heel to toe.

Any body have the same problem?

Have you calibrated the pedal?

Have you adjusted the pedal settings to make sure you're getting the full volume range across the full pedal movement range?

Both the above amply documented in this forum and on the Fender support website.

For example, for calibration, see my reply to this topic (which includes link to the official Fender document, plus my clarification on an ambiguity in the Fender instructions):
viewtopic.php?f=27&t=94304

And for the pedal settings, hit CTRL-E in FUSE and check the FUSE manual if you're not sure what any of the settings do.

Hi Scott, the calibration was the problem! It works fine now.

They should include the instructions to do it in the box.

Thanks for the help!

You are absolutely right about that.

I don't consider myself to be much of a whiner or complainer, and I try to see things from the manufacturer's viewpoint, but one shouldn't have to go online or download anything to be able to access the most basic information about a product.
