Would you do it?
Im looking for the versatility of the mustang.
Dont get me wrong, I really dig the classic 30, but it is somewhat limited.
Im looking to write/ record songs spread across the genre spectrum and theres some stuff
the classic 30 cant do without a wide assortment of pedals.
I've read the numerous feedback posts and read a ton of reviews.
Sounds like a great setup for me.
Thanx for reading and any feed back you may offer,
Jeff

Oh god yes ! I've owned 3 C30's over the years and a boatload of top end tube amps that are/were far better than the C30. Yet today the only amp i play is a mustang III. I said it before, but it's the best piece of gear of any kind i've ever purchased. It sounds and feels like a tube amp, and sounds as good or better than most. You already know the 8 million other advantages. But point is, dump the C30. You'll be blown away by the mustang. You need to learn to tweak it tho, or try other peoples patches. Theres not one good stock patch on the entire amp as it come out of the box.

thanx for the reply, oczad.
I've been through that with my mustang I V1.
Stripped all the models down and adjusted to taste.
Then added some of the presets from the preset site.
I still use that in the house for ideas, great little amp.
I'm thinking the improved modeling, 100 w, and celestion speaker makes it
a no brainer.

As far as i'm concerned it's a much better tube amp than the C30. Thats what floors me about it. Till the mustang i couldn't stand anything that wasn't a tube amp, and i was really picky within the relm of tube amps. I never thought there would be a modeler in my lifetime with dynamics and feel like a great tube amp.
