wow great post man! thanks for the info.

I guess possibilities are endless with that kind of setup.

My setup is waaay simpler (and waaay more limited) but serves me well (and is waaay beyond my current skills...)

Guitar - Mustang Floor - Mustang 3 V2 - EQ pedal - Jamman Looper - PA

he EQ pedal is setup in a way that what get's to the looper and PA is modified to mimic the Mustang 3 speaker as much as possible (so what I get from the PA and from the Mustang itself sounds similar)

I also load backing tracks into the looper which goes directly to the PA. I can tweak the Looper to send the guitar live signal to the PA or just the loop audio at will.

In this "full" setup I use the floor strictly for "pre" effects: Overdrive, Compressor and/or Wah (without amp emulation) and let the Mustang 3 do the amp emulation and other effects Pre and Post effects.

When I want to travel light, I have a subset of presets that work with the floor alone, and I leave the rest behind.

That first setup is actually more than I'm using!

That's so polite and diplomatic I almost want to come up with something negative---oh, yeah---how about: "It doesn't come in Tweed!"

Yeah, really nothing negative. I did a local fall festival yesterday and I still can't get over how well the M3v2 cuts outdoors. Loud enough on 4! Good job, Fender!

Now, if it only came in tweed . . .
