Hello, I’ve been having a problem when connecting my new Mustang I v2 amplifier. The fender fuse software shows the message “no amplifier connected” and I have tried many solutions that found on the web, included the fender forums. My OS is Windows 8 64bit and it recognizes the device in the device manager but fuse and asio software doesn’t. I’ve already reinstalled the drivers, checked the firewall and antivirus configuration, reinstalled Silverlight and .NET Framework and created a new user account without getting any solution. Hope you can help me! :?

See if any of these topics help. In particular, note my replies in these topics about checking THREE places in Device Manager for the drivers, and uninstalling/reinstalling.

Hi juandiegoacosta,

In reviewing your first post here, I see that you are reporting that Device Manager is showing the amp's drivers, and that neither Fender® FUSE™ or the Fender Universal ASIO Driver recognize the amp.

So, it would be helpful if you could clarify whether or not you are seeing all (3) device drivers for the amp in Device Manager and that they are all in the expected locations. Then we can go from there. Please see the link below which contains information about the correct driver install locations for Windows OS. Thanks very much.

Best Regards,

Alan
