Hey Fender, what about extra parameters for the MF? I could really use a master control for raising FX levels. Fuzz and Sine Flanger are too weak!

Hopefully new firmware is coming  Additional amp sims and pedal fx... something from the v2.

you can use the EXP peal to control any parameter you like

Hmm. Maybe I misunderstood the purpose of the extra parameter controls..

Can you be more specific with what you want to achieve? Both the Fuzz and Sine Flanger effects do already have a 'level' control. But I realise words like 'level' and 'weak' have vague meanings. So what changes to the sound do you want to obtain with the additional controls?

For me the level controls are not enough. Compaired to some hardware pedals the Mustang effects could have more mix, more volume over clean sound.
For example, I tried to make a flanged/phased sound for playing Rainbow's Catch The Rainbow, and my imitating of the original phaser is pretty close but not quite there because the effect is weak. I get the sound with my MXR phaser though.

I would suggest experimenting with placing the effect pre and post-amp and check if that improves the situation

Not quite sure what you mean here. The effects aren't being 'mixed' with the clean sound - they are in-line in the signal path, so they are replacing the clean sound. What you hear if you use the phaser effect (for example) is 100% phased sound - there is no 'clean' sound with a 'phased' effect being added to it.

Personally I think the Mustang phaser (as that's the effect you cite) is pretty strong/overt in its sound - I usually tone it down by tweaking its various controls - notably reducing depth and level from the defaults. That gives a nicer 'rolling' phase sound.

However, Ritchie Blackmore used either or both of a "Schulte Compact Phasing A" phaser and a "Unicord Univibe" for Catch The Rainbow. It is quite probable that the Mustang phaser effect doesn't emulate either of these items precisely. My guess is just that the Mustang phaser is different, not that it's 'weak.' You may want to look up the specs for those two units if you want to get closer to that sound.
