I wish he played hard rock. I've been trying to dial in / download a VH tone with a very capable axe but can't seem to do it. Recognize the m3 isn't the best for this but I'm sure it's me not so much the amp.

Love Shane's deluxe reverb patch. He's crushing it on these amps!

He posted a video asking for suggestions. There was also a video where he listed all the artist that he received request for... So why not ask him? I hope he doesn't get board with them and keeps making them.

I really like his videos and tones as well. As a newbie they are very easy to understand and I think he nails the "tones" as well. I have found his pedal reviews really helpful in learning what all these thing actually do. He really sold me the amp with the reviews and comparisons he did late last year and earlier this year.

I had no idea he had put that out there! I'll definitely send in a request. He's a fantastic player, knows his gear, and really puts out some quality stuff. I, too, hope he doesn't get bored - his patches are staples in my book.

I am about a week behind on testing these out, if you haven't yet, check this one out from last week:

I really like this one. Sorry if this old news to the more experienced players. It's all new to me and it's really cool!

When I was a "kid" I tried to learn guitar. I had a really lame amp. I think if I had a better amp I might not have given it up. Nobody ever explained how important the amp is in the "sounding good" equation. I am not saying I sound good now... But I think you know what I mean.

Sounds like the series might be over now.

Note: having connectivity issues this am. Sorry about any double post or poor grammar.

Today is #7. He said he is doing 10 this time around. 3 more chances captainc! Good luck.

He has a real knack for creating these tones.

I liked that video too. Looks like a ton of fun. I can't wait until I can play well enough to play with others. Learning on my own seams so slow. I wish I had more time to dedicate. Full time jobs can be such a drag lol. I am thankful for what I have though.

I use a few of his tones to practice with. I pretty much like them all but self limit myself to just a few.

yup, video #7 (Eric Clapton) says there will be 10 in the series.
Rooting for Gilmour also :)

Look like we have to get Bjorn on a mustang.

:(

One more to go I suppose so maybe he's saving it for last. Will probably be Bo Diddely or someone though. Bummer. Was curious to see what Shane would come up with.

You're funny! Bjorn on the mustang. Yup 1 week left! So many possibilities. He did say the last one is taking a lot of time.

I guess it's time to leave the nest for me, fly on my own and try to figure some tones out on my own. Lol.

I really like Shane's work though. They sound really good. Shane Definitely has a nack for figuring these out. Crap, I don't know the difference between a fuzz and overdrive!

I would venture to say at some point he'll do more. may one here or there.
I really appreciate his doing the ones he did.

It was a fun ride. Hope he does more soon! Thank you In The Blues. I for one really liked all his patches. I hope he does a video on how he made one or two patches.
