as the title suggest

i want to know, in term's of SOUND and TONE which sounds better.
i want to hear from those who have A/B'd them

i know the mustang 4 uses 2x12 Celestion Seventy Eighty speakers
and the mustang 5 uses 4x12 Celestion Rocket 50's speakers

so there will definitely be a sound difference between both because of the different speaker TYPE and 2x12 vs 4x12

i'm curious to know, which configuration sounds best with the mustang emulation :)

thank fellow mustang fan's

ps: i already have mustang 2 (love it)

Hi maclgallant,

I wanted to chime in here and suggest that if possible you audition the two amps. Otherwise, you may want to consider your use and application for the amp, and if an open-back combo or closed-back head/cabinet arrangement would work better. I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if we can assist further from our end as you make your decision.

Best Regards,

Alan
