I have a Mustang II V1 and have had for 16 months. About a month ago as I was playing it just would cut off. I would then shut it off, wait about 10 minutes, turn on and it would then be fine. This has happened repeatedly until today and will not turn on at all. I have heard this from several others who own Mustang 2's. I am a bit dismayed as I keep my equipment in great condition. Does this with/without pedals. Any thoughts/help?

Just curious why you've posted exactly the same item in three different topics?

Also all these anonymous people you know with the same problem, did any of them tell you how they fixed it? Maybe you could try the same solution as one of them?

What country are you in, what is Fender's warranty in your country? In many countries Fender's warranty is two years or more (in USA it's five years). Contact Fender directly, or the store where you purchased the amp, and ask them to help.

(Look for posts in this forum from "Fender TSL" - they put their email address and phone number in their signature, and they're very helpful. Even if you are out of warranty, they may be able to suggest a good solution.)

Answer: Not sure where to have posted. Others were unable to provide a solution. Love this amp and hopefully will be able to fix.

How many people do you know that have Mustang II's? :?

I remember a thread about this a while back, but I can't seem to locate it with the forum search. I did come up with these though....

Did you buy your amp from a store? Are you in the US?

Hi String2012,

I believe that we have been in touch with you via email earlier today regarding the issue with your amp. In case this is a different person, we would suggest that you get the amp in for an evaluation and servicing. If you are in the US or Canada, please see the Service Center link below.

If you are outside of North America, we suggest that you contact the music store where you purchased the amp, and work with them to get your amp in for evaluation and servicing that way. And please let us know if we can assist further.

Best Regards,

Alan
