I didn't save the settings before I modified/overwrote some. Now I would like to use some of the effects I overwrote as a base but I can't find but a few of them in the online preset library (unless they are named differently than in this document http://support.fender.com/manuals/guita ... g1_v.2.pdf but the doc seems correct.

I could do a factory reset, save all the preset files, then re-setup everything the way I like, but that seems like a lot of work.

Thanks

Hi papaschtroumpf,

Can you please provide the names of a few of the Presets in question? Then we will pull a search on our side and on an outside net work connection to check it out. Thanks.

Best Regards,

Alan

What I did was do a backup of my current amp (at the time). Then do a factory restore to get all the default presets back. Then did another backup to save all the factory presets in a folder and labeled it accordingly. Then restored my first backup to the amp and I now had the current amp plus access to all the default presets in case I want to start from scratch on one preset without blowing over the whole amp.

This was for a mustang II. You could probably find someone who owns a Mustang III or higher who’d might have done same and can email you a zip folder of the presets. Could be very useful.

Thanks Captainc! it is indeed the absolute easiest way to do it, I forgot you can do a whole amp backup/restore,and backup creates a nice directory with all the presets, effects, etc...

Hi papaschtroumpf,

It sounds like the Back Up/Restore function as suggested by "captainc" might work for your needs. Thanks captainc! Please let us know if we can assist in any way from our end.

Best Regards,

Alan
