Love these guys from the Rock Garage in Oz!

I picked the solid state + digital sims $330 Mustang III as sounding better than the all tube $2K Fender Custom Shop Eric Clapton Tremolux!

and you can download their custom patch through Fender Fuse!

This stuff is fun!

linnin, Sounds really good! So what are the presets and how do you get them? Do I use the USB connection for some high tech download or can I get each setting and put them in manually? I don't know how to use Fender Fuse either, but I'm a duh... quick learner LOL! Also I have the first MIII that came out, doesn't have the same stuff as what he's talking about.

I'm a bass player, and just love what new technology has done for guitar amps. Yes you need Fender Fuse software and USB into you computer, but that's all I know about it. Best of luck to you!

Yeah, I play Bass also, but I have a Tele MIM and the MIII. In those vids and what I've seen with youtube stuff, these folks are real vague about what their presets consist of. The guy says he'll add "delay", doesn't say which one, my MIII has six I think, and each one has it's own character, which makes a big difference. Anyway, I like to take shortcuts and not have to figure something out especially when someone has already done the figuring. Not a big deal though except that I had preset 14 just the way I wanted it and then I did a reset to factory default, I ain't been able to get it back like I had it, I won't do that again! The amount of variables on the MIII is incredible, everything can be tweeked, so, it sure would be nice to have those presets. Right now I don't have anything worth mentioning, when I do I'll post them with all the manual entry details (no USB), maybe we can get something going!

Yes you need to use fender fuse and usb your amp. Once you're connected, open the community for the preset downloads. Then in the search type intheblues these are great presets as you've heard.

My new favorite expression: "Ball-tearingly loud" lol!

Thanks for posting these! I've always liked his videos, too.

I would have guessed A was the Tremolux...

For an earlier poster: I believe I heard him say Tape Delay, and there's only the one on here. I like that one, too.

Shanes vis are very good, but I find his playing very samey, and many of the amps sound kind of similar, as he doesn't vary his style to demo them.

But the DRRI blind test, I could pick a difference very easily, and his mate was doing the playing. I preferred one and thought it was the tube, but it turned out to be the Mustang.

AS for presets, pretty sure you can save them in fuse, so it you ever have to do a reset, you cn load them back on the amp, being saved on the software, or in a preset folder. Haven't gone that far with it.

yeah, looks like all the presets are for V.2 and I've got the older one, so I guess it won't work for me. Fuse is confusing for me, I deleted the program one time and now I've put it back on, but I'm still lost, and ready to give up again. What I can do with it I can do manually, so what's the point.

Well, the point is, some like to tweak to deep settings, access the other amp models and Fx available, that you can't get via the amp itself. This is all built into the firmware accessible via Fuse.

I use it minimally, but found a couple of different amps I really like, like the 57 Champ

If there are any v2 presets sounds you like, there's probably someone on the Fuse community - which is a forum on this very site - that can give you the settings and you can set them up yourself.

yeah I agree, it takes you to a deeper level, but it's almost overwhelming already. It's just my lack of geek skills in general that's holding me back. I haven't kept up with the evolution of the MIII, but I'm assuming that V.2 is a later version of what I have. I bought mine 6/25/12 almost two years ago for $274.99 from MF, Fender had a $100 off deal, they might have been phasing out the older version hence the discount, but I don't know for sure. I'll check out the fuse forum, I haven't been there in a long while, because I would sure like to have those presets, and I need to find out about the volume difference between each preset. I don't use much of the capability of the amp or the foot pedals, I bought the 4 button also. I have a volume pedal and I use the factory preset 14 (beauty clean) with the small room reverb and that's about it.

This is a service that all Fender Authorized Dealers should offer for free to all Mustang & Bronco buyers. A sit down one-on-one Fender Fuse training for those that need or want it. Plus you should be able to go in and they'll upload the new presets into your amp for you and show you where and how to access them. Not every musician is a geek. I'm not.

Never hurts to call your dealer and ask. They may be more than happy to help you out. 8)
