New user - searched but couldn't find an answer...

Looking to write some settings that will enable presets that will allow multiple instances of the mod box. Playing mostly country, and playing often, I am looking for the ability to have in the same patch (say #80) a compressor, trem, phase, and chorus, and use the 4 button switch to manually turn each one off and on as needed for a tune...

Next song, use the 2 button switch to go to patch 81 (or whatever) and have greenbox, echo, reverb, trem.. again with manual on/off control from the 4 button switch...

Is this doable?

Thanks

I think you may need to understand how the effects slots work. You have four "slots" to work with: stomp, mod, reverb, and echo. Within each slot you can apply one effect, but each slot is limited to the type of effects that go in it. The stomp slot can have an overdrive, or fuzz, or compressor, chorus, etc. The mod slot can have a chorus, or phase shifter, or tremolo, etc. Reverb and Echo slots are similarly limited.

Under the stomp slot you could apply a chorus, and in the mod slot you could apply a phase shifter, but you would have no place left to apply a tremolo so you can't have all 3 working at the same time. There isn't any way to "swap" a phase shifter with a tremolo on the fly. You'd have to change it manually which is not what you're wanting to do I'm assuming.

This limitation has been discussed several time in this forum. Hopefully at some point Fender will make a change that would allow more than one effect per slot. The only alternative you have at this point would be to use an external effect in addition to the internal effects.
