Now I dont have any control of it.the only buttons that work are the tunner the up button and all off the display stuff. The mood switch the down button and the 0 thought 4 does not work. Not sure what he leaned on. HELP

Dear bigboy1967,

Thanks for your inquiry. I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with your Fender® Mustang™ Floor. It's very difficult to determine what the issue is without being able to look at the unit.
With that being said let's try a factory reset and see if that helps.
Power the unit off\Press and hold the EXIT button while powering the unit back on.
Please let us know if that helps if it does not please contact us directly and we can try additional troubleshooting steps. Please let us know if we can assist you further.

Regards,

Are any of the buttons stuck in the 'pressed down' position? Can you free them by pressing/wiggling?

OK. I have this problem too.

I did a factory reset to no avail.
I thought well I'll do a firmware update even if its the same firmware... NOTHING.

The only thing that happens is the RED Save button flashes.
I tried the update a few times, the EXIT button lights but the RED Save flashes.

HELP

Hi kozmo,

I'm sorry to hear that you are having some trouble with your Fender® Mustang™ Floor. It sounds like the unit is stuck in update mode at the moment. You may want to re-try the firmware update and/or try the update on a second computer (if available). Occasionally, a PC or Mac can get hung up in the process of updating the amp/unit. This does not affect the PC or Mac. But as you are seeing, it does not complete the update process on the amp/unit.

Please check this out. Let us know how things went and if we can assist further.

Best Regards,

Alan

OK.. still stuck. The update finished after a long time.

But none of the buttons work except to go into Tuner Mode and Tap Tempo.

The MODE Button doesnt' work. None of the numbered buttons work nor the bank up/down works.

I've used this unit every week at my church. The unit doesn't move at all ever. Its in my spot on the stage and if it does move its only by 2 feet to slide it out of the way.

I really need to be able to go into STOMP mode, cuz I turn effects on and off during our songs.

Here's what i've done so far, (btw this started on Wed. prior to that it worked fine)

1. Did a system reset to default. (its ok I can quickly make the patches i need)
2. i did the firmware update.

That's all.

Advise please.

My wife bought me the FLOOR from Amazon.com for Christmas 2013 (not even a year). I had exactly the same problem last year Oct 2012??, took it into the local authorized retail in Seattle. Waited 4 days, the tech told me that he simply opened it, "found no problem", put it back together. And then it only worked for another week or so, same issue came back. Fender ended up send me a new one. I thought I was all set.

Anyway, just 2 days ago, exactly the same thing happen again. I am about to call Fender.

It's getting very frustrated because I took very good care of the unit, use the "Fender" case if I have to bring it to band practice, never left it out even at home. It's awesome unit when it's working. However, this problem could just hit you out of nowhere, no warning/symptom at all. I was just at band practice when it was all fine, then half an hour later, it stop functioning. Can't imagine if I was in the middle of a gig.

Fender had me to send the unit back to investigate last year, I hop they learn something from that, cause I might need to replace this once again. Unfortunately, I have to postpone all my recording project during the meantime. Almost thinking about selling it to switch brand if I don't get a "real" diagnostic on the problem this time. Can't really rely on a "time bomb".

It will take me a while for Fender to gain my trust back after this is resolved. Stressful....
