Hi,
today i found some youtube guitar demo about Moogerfrooger vintage ring modulator pedal and realized that the effect included in Mustang amp (3 v.2) compared to the standard effect (also compared to Ring Thing of Electroharmonix) cuts all the higher range of frequencies that usually would give to the tone a brighter/shiny character also to mix with the normal pickup tone. So even if you set the frequency knob at 10 you can't get the right amount of high frequencies. A ring modulator usually has two range of frequencies selectable but in these case even if you can't select 2 separate range, the high range is cutted off or at least very rolled off above a certain frequency so you can't get some kind of effective effects.

I would suggest to extend the frequency range (and if appropriate add a parameter) to emulate better a reference ring modulator.

what do you think about?

Dimitri
