It does sound quite nice, particularly with both of his pickups selected

Looking forward to Mustang Mondays!

yeah that stood out to me too, kind of reminds me of the guitar at the end of those 'esurance' commercials .... http://youtu.be/lJ0yD-9CDwI?t=20s

I took this guy's Delayed '65 Fender Princeton preset but picked the Fender Twin cabinet instead. This of course was through the *Mustang 2* version 1 and it was much more dimensional, more bottom, with more volume and air. LOL! I haven't tried it on my Mustang Floor yet.

Tested this out in another room and now prefer the Princeton cab with the Princeton amp model. Also, too much spring reverb in there for my taste.

I still think the Twin is the best amp model and I love the tape delay with the large hall reverb with it. The Twin takes my pedals well and different guitars and pickups really matter. These amps are an Obsessive Compulsive Disorder's worst nightmare.

The guy in the video has a really nice Tele and it was recorded well with the Mustang IV.

I can’t wait to try it out.

Unfortunately, my strat is out of commission. I’ve been having neck issues for a while. It’s a 20+ year old parts caster and the neck finally decided it had about had it. Its Ovation Celebrity city for me until we get some bills paid off and I can either get this repaired or a replacement neck. I’m hoping to convince Mrs. Captain C to let me get one of those Squier Classic Vibe 50s. Wouldn’t be much more than a repair or new neck and I’ve hear nothing but good things about these for the price. Eyeing that Vintage Modified 70s as well. I love the maple neck on the black one.

I miss my mustang :(

Arghh matey, and what a bummer captainc.

What exactly is the neck doing? What issues? I want to see you back in the saddle again soon so you can ride.

You can probably get a used neck on the cheap. What part of the woods do you reside in if I may ask Captain. Aye Aye, I mean sir yes sir.

Neck joint popped a little. I can do the toothpick and wood glue trick as I don't have a drill press but its an old repair that didn't hold so I'm just thinking if I wait til after we get some upcoming expenses out of the way I can have it repaired proper or get a neck be it off the bay or one of the MIM Fender Necks you can now get direct. I'm handy with a soldering iron but woodworking not so much. When all is said and done I'm thinking it might make sense to just get the CV 50s and be done with it. I can always sell the CS69 pickups from my partscaster to offset the cost.

Perhaps the Ovulation needs some love anyway.

But this is another thread. Sorry for hijacking.

I'm in PA. Work in NYC.

Love NY, and love a good slice of NY pie (pizza) but you knew that. Pie meaning pizza and not that you knew I liked pizza. <g>
