I just got the Mustang IV a few days ago and loving it! There is, however, some learning involved for a guy like me... guitar-pedals-amp-sound... to get the most from this amp. I'm getting the hang of it and it's a blast! I've downloaded some presets from Fuse to my computer. If I put any of those into my amp, do they replace any of the 100 factory presets. I guess what I really want to know are the 100 factory presets the total presets for the amp? So if I want to save 10 new presets, they replace 10 factory presets of my choosing, correct?

Correct on all counts. Just save the presets "over" the location of ones you do not wish keep.

Enjoy the amp. It is one of the best on the market.

There IS a learning curve involved, but it's a fun journey.

Once you find- or make- a couple of presets you really like, you CAN use it just like a normal plug n play amp. Pedals and all. Place em in whatever order works best for you, then just have at it.

I got tired of jumping to turn the master volume down, as the amp howled with the default Liquid Solo preset. So I saved my first preset to the default 00 slot. Now it doesn't come out swinging as soon as I turn it on. I wish I had saved that one though- it is one of the good ones. I just didn't want it there every time I turned the amp on.
