Hello,
I own a Mustang III v.2 and also a Mustang Mini.
Is there any way to use (or rewire) my 2 button footswitch to use with my Mini?
I have no need for the 2 button one for my III.

Are there any links of schematics or info as to which footswitch works only for each amp.

thanks,
Gino

I'm unfamiliar with the Mini; I assume as you're asking the question, it does actually have a footswitch socket. I'm then guessing this socket is intended to take a simple open/close-circuit footswitch.

The Mustang 2-button footswitch works as I've previously described here:
viewtopic.php?f=27&t=85821&p=967706#p967706

If the Mustang Mini requires a non-latching footswitch, and if the resistance values of the 2-button footswitch are sufficiently low to make the Mini think it's a closed circuit, then it will probably work. If the Mini needs a latching footswitch, and/or needs a lower resistance to signal a closed circuit, it probably won't work.

Hi Milton555,

The 2 button foot switch that ships with the Fender® Mustang™ III-V amps is not compatible with the Mustang Mini. We offer a one button foot switch for the Mustang Mini. Please see the link below for this. And please let us know if we can assist further.

Best Regards,
