Hey,

since i´m planing to buy a Mustang Amp or Mustang Floor i took the chance to play with a Mustang Floor today.

While the Sound is quite what i´m looking for, there is one thing i´m concerned about. Changing from one Presets to another took about a second or maybe less, but enough to notice it.

Is this a Problem with this particular Floor Unit or is it normal behavior for the Floor? If i am playing a Clean Preset 1 and hit the Preset 2 for a Leadsound it took that second (or less) to change to the new sound while playing. It seems that changing from clean to lead or overdriven took longer than changing from lead to clean?!

My patch switching on my Floor is almost instantaneous. Were you hooked up to FUSE?

No, simply the Floor hooked up to an PA through the unbalanced Output. Nothing else.

Is there a Video on Youtube showing changing presets while playing? Every Video i found is only showing changing a preset while not playing the guitar? Most Videos are like "Playing a Riff, Shopping, changing preset, play another riff :( "

There is a very very slight delay, but if you're talking in terms of a full second "one-miss-is-sipp-i", that would definitely be out of the ordinary.

Okay, Thank you. Then it´s more like the "one-". I only know my old GT-8 (which does not sound nearly as good as the Floor on the same PA) and on that GT-8 it changes on the "o" from "one"

It was confussing to me playing a Solo with that delay. But on the other Hand so many People out there a very happy with their Mustang Floor and such while playing live so i guess i´ve to give it another try.

Once, again. Thank You

What he just said, and I will only add that on my Floor not even half of the one in "one-miss-is-sipp-i" or around 200 milliseconds or less than 0.2 of a second. Not a problem at all timing it into a song.

Also, going into Stomp mode and adding overdrive/distortion and effects to a patch sounds instantaneous to my ears.
