Hello everybody,

is it possible to use a multi effect (I am thinking to buy a Digitech RP 355) with the MII.
I am asking because the MII doesn't have effect send/return.

Thanks

Sure why not? Just plug your guitar into the Digitech and the digitech into the amp.Do that with my Mustang IV all the time. 8)

Yep... I have tested my RP355 with my Mustang III and it seems to work just fine. I tried it through the FX loop and it sounded crappy. Then I just put it directly into the input and it sounded fine. I set the amp to the Studio Preamp preset with no effects. The thing of it is... I haven't figured out what I would use the RP355 for. I added the EXP-1 expression pedal and 4 button switch to my Mustang and they (along with the 2 button) gives me all the functionality I had in the RP335 at least for live gigging (btw I used the RP355 for about 1 1/2 years before I got my Mustangs). But I also have a Mustang I and I can see why one might want to use a pedal to make quick changes.

I tried the RP355 to use the Whammy pedal (Lonely Boy-Black Keys) but then I found I could totally duplicate the pitch shift with the EXP-1. I would seriously consider selling the II and get a III then add EXP-1 and 4 button switch, rather than spend the $$ on a multi effects pedal. Just saying.

Cheers
