I just got the Mustang floor which I love, and am using my amp's preamp (JSX) in the insert via the 4 cable method. This lets me turn off the JSX preamp and use the Fender amp models.

This is working great, but I was wondering if there is any way to have the Floor apply a noise gate? Maybe in a stomp?

I know that each amp model has a gate, but the amp model is turned off when I am using the jsx preamp.

I havent played with the Fuse software yet.

Thanks.

Instead of turning off the preamp model on the Floor, try using the Studio Preamp with neutral EQ (and I suppose unity gain). Here's a previous thread talking about this:
