Hi,

Sorry, if I don't express myself correctly. I'm kind of noob and I'm trying to understand a couple of things yet.

Recently I bought the Fender Mustang V V.2 HD amp header only. Everything was fine, until I decided to use the line out (the XLR output). Surprised I was: there's no XLR output.

I bought this amp header from Guitar Center. The way I bought it was online and just picked up in store. I didn't notice it until I needed it. The product information page has at least two references for this output: in the specs and in the picture from the hear of the equipment. But mine doesn't have it.

I bought it less than two weeks ago. For the last hours, I've been trying to browse around to see if there's anything related to this, but I couldn't find anything. This model suppose to have the mentioned output, but mine just doesn't have it. How come is that possible?

Any word would be appreciated.

I was talking a further look. It might sound odd, but is there a chance they gave the V1 to me instead the V2? The order specifically says V2.

Yes, definitely this is it! I bought the V2, but when picking it up, they gave the V1 to me. Not cool at all!

Return it, I really prefer the cleans with the V2 (no digital "fizz"). The new Greenbox (tubescreamer) are good too, and the two new dist-stomps and the new amps.

Totally not cool. I hope your drive wasn't too long to get to GC just to have them give you the wrong amp. They need to not only exchange it, but give you some sort of peace offering...like maybe a free 2-button footswitch. It's a 30 minute drive to GC for me, so I would be livid.

Hi rocir,

We are sorry to hear that you ended up getting a V.1 version of the amp instead of the V.2 you had intended to get. V.2 definitely has XLR line outs on the rear panel. I hope that GC is working things out for you. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to assist in the mean time.

Best Regards,

Did guitar center make good on giving you the wrong amp version?
