Idle curiousity, but I guess this is trade secrets!
Interested to know rough percentages of each model's sales.
I'm guessing M III at the top, but what percentage of the total?

Price and needs are a huge part of it. Duh! My guess is the Mustang 1, Floor and 3 are selling like hotcakes at an outdoor hemp festival. However, I wouldn't be surprised if the Mini with its battery capability is selling well. The Mustang 2 is cheap and has a 12 inch speaker and can get loud. I dunno, but I own the 2 and a Floor and will be picking up the 3 sooner than later.

I am sure the true numbers are top secret trade information.

I purchased a III on Friday. I did not want to order from a web site. I purchased from a store. (Not sure if I can name the place I purchased it on this Forum or not so I won't.) I had to call a couple of places to find one in stock. The retailer I did purchase it from said it was the last one in stock. They all said they had penty of 2's in stock. Not sure why. I didn't ask.

Purely based on my thought processes in my recent purchase....

Solid state non-modelng. Group A Cheap but Sound not to good. Group B Sounds good but cost the sam as modeling AMP
Modeling AMP- Compare sound/price/features- Mustang Line wins (in my opinion)
Choose Mustang III- reasonablely priced. Solid feel, easy to use. I found the I & II more complicated because of the controls. To me the LCD screen was a big feature in its favor.

I would guess the 1 followed by the three 3 are the best sellering amps of the line. 1 simply for its price point. It is priced right for a gift or for a yongster by parent when JR says "I want to Rock." At aroudn $100 US it would be what I would spend for a first amp. I would guess 3 sells more than 2, 4 or 5 because it has the LCD screen and is less costly than 4 or 5 (with speaker cabnet). This was one of the primary reason for my selection over the 3 over 1 & 2. If the 2 had the LCD screen I would have went with that. Turning nobs through different color banks was a turn off for me.

OK sorry no hard sales data. Just sharing my thought processes as I went through it recently.

Take care.
