Any Mustang I/II users experiment with any type of stick on label for their presets? I got tired of putting presets wherever and trying to keep it in my head where they live. So until I get my Mustang III I decided it was time organize and create a nice chart/label for the top of my amp. Here’s my prototype done in Photoshop. The top half of my presets are somewhat permanent. Still working out getting the all the Marshall slots the way I want them and coming up with a few extras for the bottom slot (A). I’ve also programmed all of the MOD/DLY/REV slots to reflect what I use the most. I'd love to at least create a small stick on label to cover up the factory preset text... perhaps a 'color-forms' type label, but for now this should be good for the top of the amp to indicate what's where. As one poster in another thread stated, its all about making this amp your own. So true.

I have resolved myself to a 24-line spreadsheet I've got in a plastic cover nearby. I can update it often and took about 8 minutes to prepare...including looking for the plastic cover. I color-coded the labels to show the three banks.

Creating an alternate overlay is a great idea...which I obviously would have never stumbled onto myself...and makes it much easier to group/regroup presets.

Cool.

Brilliant idea thanks for the feedback.

Captainc,

If you still have the Photoshop file (psd) file for your label, can you post it? I would really like to have it. You have done a really nice job with it.

Thank you,

Mike :D
