Hi Guys

I'm having trouble fully understanding what the following settings for the EXP-1 when I'm assigning the EXP-1 to the touch wah on a preset:

Pedal Init Source (I'm confused between this and the capture/live setting!)

EXP Effect Bypass (when the exp mode is switched off touch wah would be then switched off anyway, so don't quite understand what is being bypassed)

EXP Parameter Restore (the touch wah would be off anyway when exiting expression mode so does this mean it would default back to the regualr touch wah setting if wah was always enabled on a preset)

I'm trying to have it that if I have the pedal on expression mode for wah on say preset 88 and then switch to another preset say 82 (no wah) when I switch back to preset 88 and the wah should still be on but it isnt - even though the exp-1 is still in expression mode (red light). I'm having to switch the pedal onto green then back onto red to re-engage it. I thought the settings above might resolve this, but even having read the manual I don't think I'm fully understanding the settings listed above. Can anyone provide a quick idiots/noob guide please? Would also be helpful to know if I'm understanding Live/Capture setting as well...I think this means that if you have Live then the parameter will automatically start at the value the pedal is set to rather than starting at a default pre determined patch value? :)

Thanks
Hayz

Hi GuysI think I've worked out the issue. I think I understand the EXP-1 settings fine, what is casuing the issue is that when I have "Touch Wah" assigned to the pedals the sound is not as I want it when the volume is quieter. Is this normal? The wah tends to sound really nice and bright (highertones) when louder? Is there a way to get that nice sound even when the volume is lower?

Thanks
Hayz
