Had the floor for 3 days, worked perfectly until this afternoon when I turned it on. Now its jumping from one preset to another without me touching anything. Responds to bank buttons but will not obey preset buttons. (jumps to random banks/presets on its own.

Of course, I turned off/on hoping it would reboot. no luck.

No midi or fuse being used. Don't want to reset to factory settings (spent 3 days dialing in my tone)

Did I get a lemon or is there a fix. I smell a lemon

While I'm typing this post it started flashing like a disco ball. seemingly random red lights and always lands on a different preset

fwiw, I'm a pro and love this unit in theory (except for the wall wart)

Any help appreciated.

Check your buttons on the amp and make sure there is not one stuck. This happened to me once and it was a stuck button. I pressed the buttons one by one to make sure they were seated right and it fixed it. I haven't had this happen since. I might have been in a hurry or something and jus pushed a button off center some how. Hope this helps.

thanks. I checked the rubber buttons and all are working properly, not cocked or stuck.
The problem seems to be with the metal stomps not commanding the brain. They aren't stuck either.
I turned it off for a while and it went into normal ops but it didn't last. Same goofy ghosting behavior

Send it for exchange.
You may as well try to hook it up to Fuse... even tho it may be jumping presets... it may still be possible to do a backup of your patches...

there is a "lock" option in the util menu... it may stop it from jumping. Not sure tho. Never tried to use it... not sure what it even does ;)

Also you might try a....

Factory Restore
You can restore your Mustang Floor to the original factory settings
if desired. All user presets will be erased!
To restore the Mustang Floor to factory settings:
1. Turn the unit off.
2. Press and hold the EXIT button while turning the unit back
on. Continue holding the EXIT button until it is no longer
illuminated.
! The FACTORY RESTORE function will erase all user modified
presets. It will also remove any custom effect selections that
have been modified using Fender FUSE software
