Not sure how many here are Gilmour fans. But I’ve been chasing his tone from the On an Island album on my mustang for a while. I think I got fairly close last week. Works really well with the SSL5 pickup. Check it out, let me know what you think. This is modeled after his solo from the title track ‘On an Island’. Particularly the last solo.

This one is way better. Thought the BlackBox worked better when i first created it but got a chance to A/B these at a respectable volume and the one with the fuzz stomp is far superior. Much smoother.

some of my favs are

SS Heavy Metal
THICKFUZZFX
Bassman Lead
My Liquid Solo
Clean

"My Liquid Solo" is the Liquid Solo preset that came on the amp adjusted to my taste.

Most of it is higher gain stuff but there is some od's and fuzzes and a couple of punk-ish (my go at a punk sound) presets

Most downloaded preset - 70's Marshall Metal

It seem's like people also like my pitch shifter setting

Uploaded a couple presets recently that I’m digging

In my quest to find the 70s Gilmourish Fuzz Face sound and my new found love for the 65 Deluxe model I came up with this.

https://fuse.fender.com/mustangv2/prese ... and-fuzzy/

Using the 57 Deluxe is a wee more hairy and possibly a better match for early 70s Gilmour.

https://fuse.fender.com/mustangv2/prese ... 57-deluxe/

I nearly gave up on the Marshal Plexi model but finally got it where I want it. Found that using the Blackbox set to very mild gain helped to smooth out the flabbiness of the dirt (as I can best describe it) that I found it to have while keeping it "marshally".

Hope you try out and enjoy

Has anyone heard a good Jerry Garcia/Grateful Dead patch? I have found a few with the Wah/mu-Tron like on shakedown street. String has a good one up!! What I am asking about is something similar to his tone without the Wah. He had it complicated rig that changed a lot so it might not be possible. On top of that his guitars tended to be uniquely wired and set up.

I just don't know enough about what does what to try to create a patch with a tone in mind.

Check out this preset and let me know what you think. I set the EQ to work well for my Epiphone Lucille (dark sounding low output pickups). You will need to adjust EQ for your guitar. Same goes for Gain - it shouldn't sound too fuzzy.

I was going for a clean that is not held back by the amp at all. I tried to find anything that was coloring the sound and remove it. The Phaser is there but switched off. If you have an EXP-1, there is a wah.

I came up with this preset because I have a Wampler Plexi-Drive Deluxe I'm using for distortion. If you have a similar setup, try it out! I'm getting an incredible range of tones.

DRA28
Description
Clean sound to use with a distortion pedal.
