Hello All......could somebody write a step by step method of downloading the patches from the Fender Website into my Mustang V2,please? I have honestly tried everything logical, including reading thru the Forums.....but I'm still confused. All I want to do is check through all the patches and modify the best/most appropriate....but a lot of what is already written really is not clear enough for a 63 year old guitarist. Thanks for any help I might get. :) :D

The way I have done it is...
I download the patch to my computer (must be signed in)
Then in Fuse... open the patch from its downloaded location.

patches here:
remember, you need to create a fender account and be logged in.

https://fuse.fender.com/mustang/presets/

Once downloaded, open Fuse.
I believe you go to
File>Open Patch? I think... and browse to the file location
I don't really use it that much, so I don't recall all the menu terms...
but anywho... you get the idea.
I would set up a folder that is easy to find to put the patches in.

mojo is right.

do this:

-go to https://fuse.fender.com/mustang/presets ... t&limit=50
-register if you have to or login (top right corner)
-search or beowse for the preset you might like
-click on the big green download button on the right of the preset
-click again on the green download button on the preset site (if it is greyed out is beacause you are not logged in!)
-save the preset anywhere you like, preferably to the Fuse preset directory, in windows 7 this is
C:\Users\*YOUR-WINDOWS-USER-NAME-HERE*\Documents\Fender\FUSE\Presets

-open fuse, and if you put it in the directory i told you, the preset is already part of the fuse presets (on the FUSE top left select PC as the source for the presets and locate you preset on the list)

-if you saved it elsewhere, on fuse go to `main menu' (top left) then 'file' then 'open preset', locate the preset where you saved it and you are done

rock on!

To add to this.

When you click ‘Open’ in the upper portion of the Fuse window, it automatically drops whatever preset you’ve opened into the ‘Presets’ Folder in the Fuse Documents location. Once the preset is opened, you can then click on the ‘Media Library’ Button on the upper right portion of the Fuse window to display the list of presets living in your fuse folder.

Scroll down til you locate the preset you would like to save to your amp.

Once you have located the preset, you can right click on the preset and select ‘Save Preset To Amp’. You will get a pop up that allows you to select the preset location on you’re amp and there you have it. Its now on your amp.

Hi Guys,

A convenient way to download and save Presets to your Fender® FUSE™-connected device is to direct your Presets to the correct file path as you download them. This way, they will show up in the Media Library list in Fender FUSE in the Computer tab. Once the Presets are there, you can simple right click/control click (Mac) and select "Save Preset to Amp" and select your save location. Please follow the instructions below to do this.

1. Log in to Fender FUSE Community account and locate Presets to download.
2. Download Presets to Documents\Fender\FUSE\Presets on your PC (or Mac)
3. Go back to Fender FUSE (or launch) Fender FUSE, and go to the Media Library and select the Computer tab.
4. You should now see the Presets you downloaded in this list.
5. Select a Preset and right click/control click (Mac) on it and select "Save Preset to Amp".

This should get you there. Please let us know if we can assist further.

Best Regards,
Alan Willey, Fender Technology Support Lab
