The switch that cycles down in the presets quit working suddenly. this is Saturday night as i write this, the unit worked fine on friday night, got up saturday and it quit cycling down thru the presets, as the day went on the buttons on the left side of the unit seem to be nonfunctional. Have taken excellent care of unit, nothing spilled on it etc. Has anyone else experienced this problem, if so is there a fix.

Try this :

The exact same thing happened to me. I contacted Fender and was told I simply needed to do a pedal calibration (see page 6 of the Mustang Floor manual). Worked like a charm.

Thanks but it did and didn't work. I tried it the pedal calibration on my current restore file and it was still not producing any sound.

The problem was the volume pedal, I would press the button under the volume pedal, the output level would rise and the pedal would start working again on my restore file. But when I turned the button to function as a volume pedal the output would go back to 0.

I fixed the Mustang floor using a method I came up with.

I had to Factory Reset the Mustang and calibrated the pedal (thank you jebrown217) and the Mustang Floor started to work with both the volume pedal active and inactive.

Now I am just handwriting the previous presets so I can input them manually on the Mustang Floor. It's going to be a long night. I hope Fender fixes this little bug.

I did the factory restore where you hold down on the exit button and power the unit on and lost the use of all the switches i'm at a loss here. Is there some kind of hard boot i can do or something along those lines?

Be aware that a factory reset is not the same as a pedal calibration (see page 6 of the manual). This may help.

Will the pedal calibration restore functionality to the switches that bank up and down and select presets?
