So I got a used Mustang II from guitar center, came from La Mesa Ca, I live in northern Ca, was all excited to receive it, plugged it in, turned the switch to on, no power. When I bought it from guitar centers site, they mislabeled it as a mustang I, the picture clearly showed it as a Mustang II, and I got the exact amp showed in the picture, so I think it was just a typo. But that being said I am afraid to return it just to have my money reimbursed. I want this amp, this model. The back of the amp shows it was made December 12, 2012 so it's still has 4 years to go on the warranty so I was wondering what my options were to have the amp fixed. Who do I see about honoring the warranty? i have never dealt with Fender before and I am quiet naive to this, and although this isn't my only line of inquiry I still wanted to cover all aspects to see what options were available. Thanks in advance to any helpful replies.

By 'no power', do you mean it lights up but no sound ... or no lights/no sound?

Some troubleshooting:

Did you try a different power outlet? Did you try a know working device in the same power outlet (like a lamp)? Are you plugged into a power strip or a surge protector?

Also, do you have a spare computer power cable around? You should be able to use that to confirm the Mustang's power cable isn't damaged:

I would think it's pretty odd to have a Mustang II v2 show up DOA.

As far as repair, any Fender Authorized Electronic Service Center should be able to help you, but the procedure depends on your location - see link  Fender Service Centers

Thanks for the reply =)
First by no power I mean dead 100%, no sound, no lights. Plugged in the connections good, plugged to a good power socket. T
I build PC's for a living, I have a 1200W Power supply I build rig's on so I now it works 100%, I tried the cable while connected to where it's always plugged in, and no go. I tried 3 other power cables from brand spanking new Power supplies that are rated for 1200W I have for some gaming rig's I am building for a PC show off that can easily power it but nada.
I checked to see if there were any service centers near me and unfortunately the closest one is 100 miles away. Unless there is one where I live in Chico Ca, that isn't listed.

Also after trying many variations of google searches I can't for the life of me find out how to replace or even locate where the fuse is, it could be as simple as a blown fuse. Every search comes up with the FUSE software :? not the actuall electronic fuse in the amp. Is it easy to locate? Should I try to see if thats the problem before jumping through hoops?

I have a Mustang II V1 and have had for 16 months. About a month ago as I was playing it just would cut off. I would then wait about 10 minutes and it would then go on. This has happened repeatedly until today and will not turn on at all. I have heard this from several others who own Mustang 2's. I am a bit dismayed as I keep my equipment in great condition. I am going to notify Fender.
