I see that the Mustang Floor has dropped in price, down to $199. 00. Is there a new version coming at Winter NAMM 2014?

Thanks,

TJ

HIO,

Can your floor be upgraded with the newly released amp models?

I am waiting until Winter NAMM to see if a new version is released. It would make sense seeing the price has dropped down from $299 to $199. Get rid of the old to bring in the new. Hopeing so anyway..

From a functionality standpoint I cannot see where an improvement is needed for the Fender Mustang Floor, however, I would gladly pay for a firmware update to get the new amp models and effects if it wasn't the price of an arm or a leg metaphorically speaking.

Well... I just bought one about a month ago. $200.00
I think one reason for the price drop is it no longer comes with some of the bundled software that it used to.
Amplitube is no longer included for one.
Seems like there is another... but can't recall right now.

I paid 175$ on January 2013. Prices go up and down all the time, particularly if you get a special discount, which was my case.

that said, I have a M3v2 and a MF and I find the M3v2 emulation to be more realistic, so if a new floor comes around I will sell the old one and get the new.

I would like to see a new version as well so they can put the effects loop in the proper place. Having it before the amp models serves very little purpose as I can put a pedal between the guitar and the mustang floor input with the same result.

I just bought a Mustang 1 v.2 and it had no software bundled with, but it was all available per free download.

I could never get Amplitude to work.

Something about audio drivers.

I'm using a Lenovo T60 think pad.

*not to change the subject*
