Total beginners question! I apologize! But what is the best method to plug the Mustang Floor into a Blues Deluxe?

The Mustang Floor has Unbalanced Outs, XLR Outs, and an "Insert Loop". The Blues Deluxe has your basic 1 and 2 instrument inputs, Power Amp In, and Preamp Out.

I would like to use the amp modeling on the Mustang Floor so that I can just switch to the next effect instead of having to tweek my amp between songs. Also I have a boost pedal that I built myself. I would like to include it as well. Thank you in advance for your response.

I don't have the Mustang Floor (I use a modeler into a Mustang3v2), but, in general:

(1) Connect the output of the Mfloor to the PowerAmp IN. This will bypass the front end of you BD amp and give the Mfloor complete control.

Some people like to (or have to) send the floor modeler output to the guitar input of their guitar amp. This works on Fender amps better than most but, eventually, you will notice an altered eq response and a reduction in dynamics and response (for which the modeler often gets blamed). Even modelers that have an output setting to send to the front end of a combo amp suffer from this---there are obviously more variables in a guitar preamp than there are in a power amp input. That being said, there are variables in power amp inputs, the impedence match between the modeler and the power amp being a big one. My experience with Fender amps has been good in this regard (my M3V2 is a particularly sweet experience so far) but---you just don't know until you try it (another source of frustration with the sound from floor modelers).

Would my boost pedal go between the Mfloor and the PowerAmp In? It needs to be the last thing in my chain right?

Depends on whether you want to boost the guitar signal itself or the output of the MF. For the guitar, you could plug into your boost pedal (I'm assuming it's a clean boost and not a distortion pedal) before the MF or use it in the MF's effect loop. If you want to boost the whole thing, set it up between the MF's output and the power amp input. In any event, adjust for overloading the MF or the power amp input.

You could always just set up an adjacent copy MF patch with a higher output to get the same "solo" effect.
